Steps look wrong or have stopped
Open Your settings, check the selected step source, then choose Sync steps. Completed minutes are synced, so the newest steps may take a little time to appear. Check the permission for your chosen source if steps remain unchanged.
Apple Health can return no steps without telling the app whether read access was denied. Switching sources does not add their totals together. Reserve steps support new walking; they are not another record of physical steps.
Notification settings
Choose notifications in Settings to enable them and select progress updates or crew walks. If iPhone permission is off, use Open iPhone Settings. Quiet hours skip updates rather than collecting a queue to send later.
Notifications depend on your connection, iPhone settings and when progress reaches the game server. They may arrive later than the walk itself. Opening the app syncs your steps and displays the latest progress.
An activity is not moving
Check whether you have an activity selected, the required tools and supplies, and space in your bag. An activity may stop when supplies run out or the bag becomes full. Reserve steps are released alongside new walking rather than spent while sitting still.
Use the activity’s information and requirements to check what it needs. The sync status explains whether a command is waiting to reach the server. Keep the app installed while changes are pending.
A group reward is missing
Both people need to start their own group walk, allow precise location, generate new steps and work on the same activity while nearby. Reserve release does not establish that someone is walking. A partner’s delayed upload can mean a reward appears after a later sync.
Unreliable location readings may not qualify for a shared reward. Stop the group walk to end location checks; solo activity can continue. Your group never receives a map of your physical location.
Keep your saved progress
Use the same sign-in account after an update. If changes are waiting to sync, keep the app installed and try again when connected. Signing out and deleting an account are different actions.
If account removal is unavailable or a removal message remains, keep the app installed and report the message. Do not repeatedly create a new account to recover an old adventure.
Reporting a beta issue
Tell the developer what you were doing, what you expected, what actually happened and approximately when. Include the activity name and whether you chose iPhone steps or Apple Health. Share app details below to include the version and iOS version.
For TestFlight installations, Apple’s TestFlight feedback tools can attach a screenshot to a report. Check any image before sending it. Do not send passwords, verification codes, group invite codes, precise location samples or your full Health history.
